![]() ![]() In my opinion, you should keep it as it is (with some small improvements)! Then, CPU/RAM bars would be useless, but I admit that a little progress bar for defragmentation is a good idea. Personally, I disagree with Korisame on each of the points that he raised I find that the GB3 interface is pretty, modern and airy, unlike the one of GB2 that was too big, heavy and overloaded for nothing. well i think that the estetic aspect of 2.0 is better than 3.0Īlso the window shape looks better in 2.0 than in 3.0 The main page of 3.0 is quite empty and it is not nice to see in a game booster program. ![]() ![]() I suggest you to add a defrag progress bar like in the version before, and also a ram and cpu bar in the main page like in 2.0 But it's very easy to learn and use to it's full capacity. The new interface is a bit disorienting at first (at least, in my case). Overall, I am happy with the new version. Not sure if that was a simple goof, or a problem with the program, but it's definitely something to check into. I was sent to download an outdated NVIDIA driver and had to go download the latest drivers manually. I would also point out that I updated my video card and sound card drivers via v.3. I'm disappointed to find that the gamebox is no longer a feature. It was to the point that I was able to increase my resolution and settings without my FPS dropping below 45. I immediately noticed that my FPS was higher in that level than when I played on a more plain map using Game Booster 2.3 Premium. Lots of rope bridges, explosive barrels, and falling tanks. The map I played on is based around physics with a lot of detailed foliage. This may not make much difference - it all depends on how well your system is optimised at the moment - but as the program is free, it's (just about) worth a try.I've just finished testing out the new version of Game Booster. Game Booster provides tools to free up a few system resources. Still, Game Booster is free, so if you're desperate for a little extra PC performance then there's no harm in giving it a try. And if your PC is reasonably well optimised already, the program is unlikely to make any noticeable difference to your gaming speeds. A distinct lack of help may also leave you confused. Game Booster includes a simple defrag tool which optimises only the game or folder you specify, hopefully improving speeds without the need to defrag your entire drive.Ī "Drivers" tab highlights key gaming drivers - audio, graphics - and offers to help you upgrade them.Īnd the core "Boost" function tries to identify unnecessary background processes, then close them on demand, freeing up valuable system resources for your games (or any other heavy-duty programs you might be using).Īll this is presented in a bizarrely dark interface, where some elements are so greyed out that you might miss them entirely. We're not sure how useful most of these will be, but you can try them in a couple of clicks, and restore them just as easily later, so they're perhaps worth a try. The program can apply a range of Windows tweaks, for example, without you having to go poking around in the Registry. Razer Game Booster is a PC optimisation tool which uses several techniques to try and improve your gaming performance. ![]()
